J. Higley Custom Rods has been known for fine custom fishing rods, and I intend to continue the legacy in honor of my husband. For those of you who did not know Jim or myself personally, we spent many hours building fishing rods together--he taught me everything he knew. I watched him put a lot of dedication into each fishing rod as he made those "special request" rods.

I will be building, wrapping, and repairing fishing rods following the quality craftsman guidelines set by Jim. My goal is to give the same quality and service each of you have come to expect from J. Higley Custom Rods.

We will also extend the service of custom wrapping maybe for that special fishing rod you may want with specific color of thread wrap or personalize as a gift for a special person or yourself.
