Mike Pierce took 5th place in the Jimmy Flynn tournament at Gull Lake on June 5, 2004. He had third place in big bass for Largemouth and Smallmouth bass shown here. All fish were caught on Higley Rods.

Mike works full time at Perrigo Co., but he also has his own "at-home" business building rod racks. He and his co-fisherman, Chris, own Rocky Point Custom Rod Racks. His first introduction to a Higley Rod sold him, and he uses the Higley rods in all tournaments. He has collaborated with me in sales starting in December of 2003... buy a rod, buy a rack.

These are photos of our Devil's Lake, ND outing where the Higley rods did their damage. There were 70 perch and 6 walleyes caught on Hali spoons with wax worms in 24-26 feet of water. I have recently added a spring bobber to my Higley 25 so I can detect the light bites, and it works great in deep water using no-stretch line. Lately, we have been catching perch locally in 70 feet of water. We are returning to Devil's Lake in mid-March in hopes of getting some more monster perch.
